Blossom Drop โ€” Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026 ยท Applies to Blossom Drop for iOS, version 1.0 and later.

Blossom Drop is a single-player puzzle game made by Effie Friend. This page explains what the game stores, what leaves your device, and what does not. It is written for this app specifically, not for a catalogue of apps.

The short version

What the game stores on your device

Blossom Drop saves the following to your device's app storage so that the game works between sessions:

This data stays on the device. It is not sent to us, and we have no way to read it. Deleting the app deletes all of it. The one exception is what you have chosen to send to Game Center, described next.

Game Center

If your device is signed in to Game Center, the game submits your daily-challenge scores to a Game Center leaderboard and reports your progress toward four achievements. Apple stores these in your Game Center account under Apple's privacy policy; we run no server of our own and never receive them.

Scores and achievements persist in your Game Center account after you delete the app. You can manage or remove them from your device's Settings under Game Center, or through Apple's account privacy tools. The leaderboard shows other players' Game Center nicknames, which are Apple's, not ours.

Game Center is optional. The game is complete without signing in; only the leaderboard and achievements need it.

Purchases

The game offers in-app purchases through Apple's App Store: petal packs and Remove Ads. Apple processes every purchase. We receive no name, address, card or bank details โ€” only a confirmation from Apple that a purchase was made, so the game can grant it. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Advertising

Blossom Drop shows ads using Google AdMob. We have configured ads to be non-personalised: they are chosen from context such as the app and general location, not from a profile of you. The game does not display Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA).

To serve and measure ads, Google may receive from your device: your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, your device model and operating system version, and information about the ads shown and tapped. Google uses this to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, detect fraud, and report to us how many ads were shown. We see only aggregate counts; we never see individual devices.

The ad SDK also reports crash, performance and other diagnostic data about its own operation to Google. This is Google's collection, not ours: we do not receive it, and we run no crash-reporting or analytics service of our own.

Google describes its handling of this data in Google's privacy policy and in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Ad content is restricted to a general-audience rating suitable for the game's age rating.

What we do not do

Children

Blossom Drop is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children and is not part of the App Store Kids Category. Ads are served in non-personalised form and tagged for treatment under age-of-consent rules, which is the most restrictive setting the ad provider offers.

Deleting your data

Everything the game itself stores is on your device, and deleting the app removes it. Scores and achievements you have sent to Game Center remain in your Apple account until you remove them through Settings or Apple's account tools. Data Google received to serve ads is held under Google's policy, linked above. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on request; if you have a question about this, contact us at the address below.

Changes

We will update this page and change the date at the top if the game starts to collect, store or share anything differently. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
